About Wilson John |
Wilson John is a Senior Fellow with the Observer Research Foundation. His areas of research include Pakistan, India`s neighbourhood policy and terrorism. His articles are regularly published both in India and abroad. His chapters on extremism in Bangladesh and terrorism in Pakistan have been published in Unmasking Terror: A Global Review of Terrorist Activities published in 2005 by The Jamestown, Washington.His other published papers include `Pakistan Under Islamist Siege` in India`s National Security: Annual Review 2004 and `Terrorism in South Asia: Trends and Challenges` in South Asia Defence and Strategic Year Book 2007. He has authored/edited six books?An Admiral`s Fall (Har Anand 1999), Karachi: A Terrorist Capital in the Making (Rupa 2004), Pakistan`s Nuclear Underworld (ORF-Samskriti 2005), co-editor of Terrorism in Southeast Asia (Longman Pearson 2005), Pakistan-Four Scenarios (Pentagon Press2007), The General and Jihad (Pentagon Press) and Pakistan: Struggle Within (ed) (Longman Pearson 2009). His forthcoming book is Coming Blowback: How Pakistan is Endangering the World (Rupa 2009). He writes frequently in The Terrorism Monitor, Jamestown Foundation, Washington, and Washington Times.
